Chi Kung Program
Description
Chi Kung, also known as Qi Gong, is an ancient Chinese practice that translates to the art of cultivating energy for harmonious circulation in the body. It utilizes techniques that combine the mind, physical exercise, and breathing to promote states of calm, improve performance, and generate well-being.
Expositor
Paul JimÈnez Rabanelli, a psychologist with a diploma in Sports Update and Physical Education, is the instructor for this program. He is also a Wushu trainer at PUCP, a teacher of continuous training, and the coordinator of the Psychophysical Development Area at the Pontificia Universidad CatÛlica del Per˙.

The program will take place on the following dates and times:
- 17 February 2022, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 22 February 2022, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 24 February 2022, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Investment
The program costs S/ 80.00 soles. A discount is available for PUCP collaborators who pay through payroll.
Target Audience
The program is designed for individuals over 50 years old.

Program Details
The Chi Kung program requires patience to produce results and involves movements that must be performed in a meditative state of consciousness, calmness, and relaxation. The practice facilitates these qualities, and there are no age or physical limitations for participating in Chi Kung.
