Wintrode Tutoring Program

The Wintrode Tutoring Program is designed to provide academic support to students at South Dakota State University. The program offers free tutoring to all SDSU students, with the goal of supplementing what they are learning in the classroom.

Program Overview

Tutoring sessions are usually held in small groups of up to four students, although requests for one-on-one tutoring may also be accommodated depending on tutor availability. The program is sponsored by the Wintrode Endowment through the SDSU Alumni & Foundation, and was created in 2005 through a donation from Virgil Wintrode, a SDSU alumnus.
