Studio Art (BFA) – Printmaking Specialization
The Studio Art (BFA) – Printmaking Specialization is a program designed for students who wish to pursue a career in fine arts, graphic design, and related fields. This program offers traditional and experimental intaglio, relief, letterpress, screen print, monoprint, and monotype experiences.
Program Description
As artists of the 21st century, printmakers have extensive possibilities to contribute to a wide range of professions related to the discipline. Graphic design, fibers, painting, photography, film, and more are closely linked to this tradition. Students explore a wide variety of technical and conceptual approaches to these mediums, developing personal vocabularies and content through the completion of limited editions, broadsides, portfolio exchanges, serial projects, and installations.
