Master of Transportation Sciences

The Master of Transportation Sciences is a 120 ECTS, English-taught program that can be completed in two years on-campus or three years by distance learning. The program is designed for students who wish to gain in-depth knowledge of transportation sciences and is accredited by the Flemish Community.

Target Group

The program is targeted towards holders of an academic bachelor's degree in transportation sciences, economics, geography, urban planning, or related fields who wish to obtain a master's degree in Transportation Sciences.

Traffic Safety
Transport Policy and Planning

Students receive a solid foundation in transportation fundamentals in the first semester and can then choose their specialization in the second semester. The specializations are taught through a combination of theoretical courses, case studies, and research projects.

Applicants must hold at least a university degree or a diploma of higher education equivalent to an academic bachelor's degree.
Preference is given to candidates with a degree linked to transportation sciences, but those with relevant work experience in the field are also considered.
Sufficient knowledge of English is required, certified by Cambridge C1 Advanced, IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English Test.
Exemptions to language test requirements apply to holders of diplomas from certain countries or those who have completed an English-taught bachelor's or master's program.
