Program Details

The Bekker NAWA program is designed to support international mobility for doctoral students, scientists, and academic teachers. The program aims to provide funding for research stays at renowned scientific centers, lasting from 3 to 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the program, the following individuals are eligible:

• Doctoral students who have presented an individual research plan to the institution conducting the doctoral school, as specified in the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science.
• Scientists or academic teachers employed by an institution with a scientific category at the time of application.

Funding Opportunities

Within the program, funding can be sought for the following activities:

• Conducting scientific research or development work
• Acquiring materials for scientific publications
• Undertaking postdoctoral internships
• For doctoral students, realizing part of their education
• Other forms of scientific or academic activity

Financial Support

The financing covers the costs of:

• Scholarship
• Allowance for maintenance costs
• Allowance for travel costs
