Special Education Plus Content Endorsement Program

The Special Education Plus Content Endorsement program is designed for individuals who wish to become regular classroom teachers in a secondary setting and/or special education teachers with unique skills, especially in instructional methods and transitions from school to community.

At the end of the program, students will be qualified to apply for two endorsements, one in special education and one in their secondary level content area. These endorsements prepare students to be regular secondary education teachers, specializing in a specific subject(s) with the skills to meet the needs of all their students, including those at-risk for school failure and those with disabilities.
