Interdisciplinary Short Story / Advanced Short Story Workshop

• Description: This course explores the short story as a literary art form, using it to engage with ideas from various fields of study. Students will craft and critique their own short stories, employing artmaking as an essential epistemological process.
• Prerequisites: N/A
• Materials Fee: $14.49
• Texts: Students will provide hard copies of their own work for workshop, and additional readings will be provided by the instructor.
• Credit/Evaluation: S/NX grading, with a narrative evaluation required for credit. Major work includes 2-3 short stories, written critique of classmates' work, participation in oral critique, and additional readings.
