The program in question is Arbetsterapi, avancerad nivÕ, Forskningsetik, which is a 2.5 hp course.
Course Description
The course focuses on good research practice and research ethics, where different ethical theories are discussed in relation to research. Students will learn about research ethics legislation and guidelines, as well as how to apply them in research. The course content provides guidance for working on a master's thesis, where students need to be able to evaluate different types of research questions and methods from a research ethics perspective and legislation.
Prerequisites
- The course is at an advanced level, with only courses at the basic level as prerequisites (A1N).
- The prerequisite for the course is an exam at the basic level of at least 180 higher education credits, of which 90 higher education credits with progressive deepening in occupational therapy or nursing science, including an independent work of 15 higher education credits. Additionally, Swedish 3/Swedish level 3 is required.

The selection is based on the number of completed higher education credits taken no later than the last application date (TPAV).
