Program Overview

Bioinformatik och Systembiologiska Metoder

The course covers various techniques for analyzing molecular OMIC profiles (transcriptomics - microarray, next-generation sequencing; metabolomics - GC-MS; proteomics - MS and antibody-mediated techniques). The course includes programming (R, programming statistical analyses) to be applied with different methods (one-dimensional and multivariate) for biomarker analysis. The results will be analyzed with the help of information from various molecular biological databases. Several statistical concepts, such as statistical testing, multiple testing, and other concepts of statistical analysis, will be presented.
