The program in question is the K—rpedagog, inriktning vuxenk—r II, which is a 30 hp course.

Course Description

In this course, students have the opportunity to further deepen their understanding of the pedagogical and artistic work with adult choirs, with the goal of developing their ability to lead the choir forward in a creative and enjoyable way. The course includes instruction in gesture, voice, piano as a rehearsal instrument, rehearsal methodology, score study, work analysis, rhythm, group leadership, and more. Students are required to have their own choir.

Course Schedule

The course is given during the autumn semester of 2026, from week 36 to week 22 of 2027, at half speed (50%), during the day. The instruction is normally conducted in Swedish, but may also be given in English. The course is held at the ørebro campus and is open for registration.
