Course Description
In this course, students work with a design process to develop meal concepts from various historical style periods. They learn basic composition understanding for meal design in rooms, on tables, and on plates. The course emphasizes the ability to describe and explain spatial compositions of dishes, table settings, and furniture arrangements in words. Participation in the implementation of a meal event, including participation in the kitchen and dining room, is also part of the course.

- Level: GrundnivÍ (Basic Level), with less than 60 hp of prior coursework at the basic level required (G1F).
- Prerequisites: 15 hp in total from MÍltidskunskap och vðrdskap (Meal Science and Hospitality), specifically from courses like Gastronomi I (Gastronomy I), Kulinariskt kockhantverk (Culinary Craft), Sommelleriehantverk, Vetenskapliga utgÍngspunkter (Scientific Foundations), Sensorik I (Sensory Science I), and Vðrdskap (Hospitality).
