The individual and society dimension focuses on the individual's prerequisites, perspectives, and problems, or analyzes the conditions of people with disabilities from a societal perspective. The nature and culture dimension emphasizes the importance of conducting disability research from clear natural science, technical, and medical problem statements to understanding disability and functional impairment from various cultural and social science perspectives.
