Program Overview
Master Program in Law and Human Rights
The Master Program in Law and Human Rights is a unique opportunity for students who want to work internationally and contribute to a more inclusive society. The program is a joint master's degree between ųrebro University, the University of Belgrade, and LUMSA University in Palermo, Italy.
Program Description
The two-year master's program is designed to provide students with a specialized competence in human rights and social sustainability. The program combines legal studies with perspectives on human rights, equality, and diversity. It includes both compulsory and elective courses, as well as legal clinics, projects, and practical exercises.
Program Structure
- The first term is spent in Belgrade
- The second term is spent in Palermo
- The third term is spent in ųrebro
- The fourth term is dedicated to an independent thesis with an international focus
Target Group
The program is open to students with a background in law, social sciences, humanities, or other related fields.
Language of Instruction
The language of instruction is English.
Degree
Students who complete the program will have the opportunity to apply for three internationally recognized degrees from the partner universities.
Tuition Fees
No tuition fees are charged for the semesters spent abroad. The program functions like any other Swedish program, with no tuition fees for EU citizens.

The program is two years long, equivalent to 120 higher education credits.

Application Deadline
The application deadline is April 15.
ERASMUS Stipendium
Students who are accepted into the program may apply for an ERASMUS stipendium for mobility to Belgrad and Palermo. There is also a possibility for a maximum of one student from each country to receive a special stipendium for the ERASMUS Mundus Joint Master, which covers living expenses for the entire program.
