The preschool teacher program

The Preschool Teacher Education Program is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become qualified preschool teachers.

Before Semester 3

Before Term 3, students are required to take the following courses:

• Preschool Pedagogy IIIb, 7.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy IIIb, 7.5 credits)
• Preschool Pedagogy IV, 7.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy IV, 7.5 credits)
• Preschool Pedagogy V, 7.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy V, 7.5 credits)
• Preschool Pedagogy VI, 7.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy VI, 7.5 credits)

Before Semester 5

Before Term 5, students are required to take the following courses:

• Preschool Pedagogy VII, 22.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy VII, 22.5 credits)
• Preschool Pedagogy VIII, 7.5 credits (Preschool Pedagogy VIII, 7.5 credits)

Before Semester 7

Before Term 7, students are required to take the following courses:

• Educational Science Core III, preschool focus, 15 credits (Educational Science Core III, Preschool Focus, 15 credits)
• Preschool Pedagogy XI, Independent Work, 15 credits (Preschool Pedagogy XI, Independent Work, 15 credits)

Registration

To register for courses, students must:

• Note the course registration code
• Log in to Antagning.se
• Find the course in the "Education Catalog" (Education Catalog)
• Register for the correct course

Place guarantee for 30 credits per semester

As a program student, you are guaranteed a place in up to 30 credits per term, provided that you register correctly and on time. If you wish to register for additional courses, you can do so as a separate course on Antagning.se.
