Program Overview

The Value-Added Tax Law program is designed for students seeking advanced knowledge in value-added tax (VAT). The course combines modern teaching methods, including web-based and physical lectures and seminars, and can be taken on a distance basis. Participants will acquire advanced-level knowledge about VAT in the EU and Sweden, as well as its practical application.

  • The program is especially useful for individuals planning to work as tax lawyers, in tax authorities, as judges in tax courts, auditors, accountants, or business lawyers.
  • Since VAT is one of the most harmonized areas in EU law, the course is suitable for those interested in studying the interaction between EU law and substantive national law.
