Program Overview
The Analysvetenskap och forensik program is a 2.5 hp course that focuses on the use of forensics to track and identify pollutants. The course covers both inorganic and organic trace elements' mobility and transport in natural systems.
Course Description
The course provides an overview of environmental parameters that affect the movement of different trace element groups in natural systems, as well as how sources and emission histories can be determined. It also discusses how sampling and analysis can be performed. The course includes in-depth studies of relevant issues that can be hypothetical, reality-based, or research-related. These in-depth studies are conducted in groups, with a special focus on stimulating curiosity and creativity, as well as training in decision-making and problem-solving.
