The Nationalekonomi, Uppsats, avancerad nivÂ, 30 hp program is a 30-credit course that consists of an independent project applying economic theory to a problem, including empirical analysis.

Course Details

• The course is offered at the advanced level and contains a degree project for a master's degree (A2E).
• The program is provided by the Handelshˆgskolan at ÷rebro University.
• The course is given during the spring semester of 2026, from week 04 to week 23, full-time, and daytime.
• Teaching is normally conducted in Swedish, but may also be in English.
• The course is campus-based in ÷rebro.

Requirements

• Prerequisites: 90 higher education credits in economics at the basic level, including an independent project of 15 higher education credits. Additionally, Basic Statistics, 15 credits, and Data Mining and Business Analytics, basic course, 15 credits, or Basic Statistics, 15 credits, and 7.5 credits in regression analysis/econometrics/scientific method in economics or statistics are required.
• Selection: The number of higher education credits completed by the last application date (TPAV).

Program Structure
