The Statistik, Ekonometri, avancerad nivĺ, 7,5 hp program is a course that focuses on multiple linear regression and alternative models that can be used when the linear model is not applicable. The course provides a theoretical foundation for understanding econometric methods and their practical application using statistical software.

Course Details

Prerequisites

• 90 hp in statistics at the basic level, or
• 30 hp in statistics and 60 hp in mathematics, or
• 60 hp in statistics where 7.5 hp in statistical theory and 7.5 hp in regression analysis/econometrics are included.
• Additionally, Statistik, Sannolikhetslära, avancerad nivĺ, 5 hp, and Engelska 6 are required.

Selection Criteria

• The number of completed higher education credits taken no later than the last application date (TPAV).

Course Schedule

• The course is offered during the spring semester of 2026, from week 04 to week 13, at half speed (50%), during the day.
• The course is also offered during the spring semester of 2027, from week 03 to week 12, at half speed (50%), during the day.
