University Program Information

The University of Ghana has mounted a third batch for the Mature Entrance Access programme through the School of Continuing and Distance Education.


Program Details

  • The program features two weeks of intensive online classes, held on weekdays (evenings) and weekends.
  • The exams will be written only on the University of Ghana main campus.
  • Classes will be solely online.

Program Schedule

  • Weekdays: Monday, November 3 - Friday, November 7, 2025, and Monday, November 10 - Friday, November 14, 2025.
  • Weekends: Saturday, November 8 - Sunday, November 9, 2025, and Saturday, November 15 - Sunday, November 16, 2025.
  • Revision: Monday, November 17 - Sunday, November 23, 2025.
  • Examination Day: Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Registration and Fees

  • The registration fee for the Access Course and Entrance Examination is GH¢700.00 for Ghanaian applicants and USD$100 (or its equivalent in Cedis) for international applicants.
  • The fee is non-refundable.
  • Payment should be made into the specified account numbers at any branch of ECOBANK Ghana Limited.
  • International applicants should make payment into the College of Education account number with the specified Swift Code at ECOBANK Ghana Limited.

Eligibility and Application

  • Only applicants who pass the entrance examination will be eligible to purchase the e-voucher to access the University's online application form.
  • Applicants should register online after payment at the University of Ghana Website or visit the Learning Centre to complete the registration.
