Program Overview

MPhil Finance

The MPhil Finance programme is a rigorous 2-year course aimed at preparing students with the required skills and knowledge to conduct good research in the field of finance. The emphasis is on research, and students spend the entire second year in the programme writing an MPhil thesis under supervision.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

• A good first degree in Finance from a recognized University.
  • Candidates with a good first degree in areas such as Insurance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics who can demonstrate the capacity and ability to cope with the programme may be considered.
• A good first degree (at least a Second Class Lower) in a relevant field of study from any recognised university and a minimum of two (2) years work experience.
• There is one admission in August every year.
• An entrance examination or interview may be conducted.
