MPhil Human Resource Management

The MPhil Human Resource Management is a 2-year rigorous programme aimed at providing advanced human Resource Management training to highly qualified degree holders. It is geared towards developing the research capacities of participant students and is positioned as a breeding programme for doctoral candidates in Human Resource Management.

Programme Overview

The emphasis of the programme is on research, and students spend the entire second year writing an MPhil Thesis under supervision. The courses taken by MPhil Human Resource Management students include:

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess the following:

• A good first degree (at least a Second Class lower) in Human Resource Management, Psychology or Sociology from a recognized university.
• Candidates with a good first degree (at least a Second Class lower) in other areas who demonstrate an eagerness and capacity to cope with the programme may be considered.
• Admissions are in August each year.
• An entrance examination or interview may be conducted.
