Program Educational Objectives

The program aims to:


  • Train qualified health professionals equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills according to the outcomes of the program, designed based on national and international professional criteria in pathology laboratories of healthcare institutions.
  • Prepare body tissues and/or fluids for microscopic examination in pathology laboratories and perform necessary administrative and technical preparations before, during, and after the examination.
  • Develop the knowledge and attitude to understand and solve problems occurring in pathology laboratories within the scope of duties, authorities, and responsibilities, and to apply professional values and ethical principles in pathology laboratory services.
  • Train healthcare personnel with effective interpersonal communication and leadership skills who can work in harmony with interdisciplinary and laboratory teams during pre-, intra-, and post-pathology laboratory procedures.
