Program Overview

The American Culture and Literature Doctoral Program at Ege University aims to provide advanced knowledge in American culture, literature, and society, as well as research techniques and critical thinking skills.

Program Description

The program is designed to last 4 years, consisting of 8 semesters, with a total of 240 AKTS credits. The curriculum includes compulsory and elective courses, a proficiency exam, thesis proposal, and thesis defense.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the program, applicants must hold a Master's degree and meet the foreign language requirement. They must also pass a written and oral exam, and have a minimum ALES score of 55 or equivalent.
