Program Overview
The 2023 Imperial College-Royal College of Art "Design Thinking and Global Challenges" Winter School is a jointly sponsored program by Imperial College and the Royal College of Art. This program is designed for outstanding students interested in learning how to tackle the world's challenges through service design, with the aim of enhancing their design innovation thinking and ability, and advancing society through design innovation.
Program Details
The main lecturers of the project include Academician Peter Childs, Director of Imperial College Dyson School of Design and Engineering, and Nick de Leon, founder and former Head of the Department of the Service Design Program at the Royal College of Art. Participants will be guided by mentors and work with talented students from various schools to explore current global challenges, come up with innovative ideas, and design a solution that can address a specific global challenge.

Program Outcomes
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate and proof of achievement from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art.
