Accounting BS Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting provides students with a comprehensive education in accounting, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and auditing. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in public accounting, industry, and government.

Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting requires 120 credit hours, including:

• 40 credit hours of general education courses
• 30 credit hours of business core courses
• 30 credit hours of accounting major courses

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

• Understand the fundamental concepts of financial accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis
• Apply managerial accounting concepts to make informed business decisions
