Master of Education (M.Ed.) Program

The Master of Education Degree programs are designed for graduates to attain the following learning outcomes:

• Understand the major theories in the discipline of study
  • Attain a solid foundation in the overall field of education in general
  • Areas of focus include:
    • Social justice
    • Educational leadership and advocacy
    • Educational psychology and research
• Attain a depth of knowledge in the primary discipline
• Think critically
• Develop skills as a reflective practitioner to be able to create and sustain change
• Conduct teacher research

Program Objectives

The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the field of education, including its various disciplines and areas of focus. By the end of the program, students will have developed a deep understanding of the major theories in their discipline of study, as well as a solid foundation in the overall field of education.
