Master of Accounting Program
The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills in accounting and related fields. The program is designed to prepare students for careers in public accounting, industry, and government.
Program Requirements
The program requires 30 credit hours, including 18 credit hours of coursework in accounting and related fields. Students must also complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of upper-division coursework in accounting and related fields.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the MAcc program, students must meet the same requirements as those needed for a graduate degree program in business.
Licensure and Certification
As of July 1, 2024, it has been determined that the following programs meet educational requirements for Certified Public Accountant licensure in Missouri and Illinois:
- Master of Accounting (MAcc)
- Masters of Business Administration - Accounting Emphasis
