The program is designed to form readiness for production and technological activities in the construction of wells, ensuring the implementation and operation of equipment in the process of drilling wells for oil and gas, while complying with environmental protection, labor protection, and industrial safety requirements.

  • Ability to participate in the assembly, disassembly, and transportation of drilling equipment during the movement of the brigade with its unit
  • Ability to rationally organize and maintain order at the workplace, prepare equipment, tools, and devices for work, and maintain them in proper condition
  • Ability to participate in the technological process of drilling wells for oil, gas, thermal, iodine-bromine waters, and other minerals
  • Ability to start the drilling unit under the supervision of the driller
  • Ability to perform top-side work during running and pulling operations
  • Ability to participate in works on laying drilling and casing pipes, compaction of the lower part of the drilling pipes, and their pressure testing

Faculty

The program is implemented by associate professors and senior lecturers of the Oil and Gas Department of the Tomsk Polytechnic University, who have experience in scientific research and the implementation of scientific developments in the oil and gas industry, and have undergone advanced training in the educational program "Teacher of Higher Education" and training on AMT 221B and -2 simulators.
