Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management Major

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Major at Ball State University teaches students how supply chain managers work to help businesses make their supply chain of goods and services as efficient and profitable as possible. Program Overview

Ball State's undergraduate program in logistics and supply chain management provides immersive learning opportunities through an industry-based internship, learning projects, on-site business tours, professional events, and lectures from supply chain managers and top experts in the field. The program ensures students graduate in four years with an optional minor.


Supply Chain Management and Logistics Major Requirements

As a logistics and supply chain management student, the major begins with a series of classes from throughout Miller College of Business, giving a background in management, marketing, accounting, finance and insurance, and information systems and operations management. Students then take five required courses in logistics and supply chain management, including a senior capstone project, and select an elective course in logistics and supply chain management.


Online Option

For those looking for flexibility, an all-online option is available. This program was developed for students who may already have some college credits or an associate degree, and a customized plan of study is created to meet educational goals that fit around work, family, and other obligations.
