General Studies

The Bachelor of General Studies Degree (BGS) is an option for students who are seeking approaches to a degree path somewhat different than the traditional majors and courses for a department program. Students who seek this degree should work closely with the Upper Division Advising Center and a Departmental Advisor to be aware of options and department availability for approving areas of emphasis. A student who chooses the Bachelor of General Studies Degree must complete the requirements outlined in the Undergraduate Catalog.
