International Ph.D. Program in Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine

Mission Statement

The mission of the International Ph.D. Program in Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine (IPCTRM) is twofold: to provide students with the necessary training to become leading medical researchers and to promote translational medicine through cell-based therapy clinical trials.

Curriculum Focuses

The curriculum focuses on various topics in Cell Therapy & Regenerative Medicine, including:

  • Basic Research Skills:
    • Stem Cell Research
    • Cell Biology
    • Molecular Biology
    • Immune Cell Therapy
  • Translational Application:
    • Clinical Study
    • Medical Statistics
    • Special Topics in Cell Therapy & Regeneration Medicine
  • Industrial Application & Regulation Affairs:
    • Research ethics
    • Forum in cell therapy & regeneration medicine
    • Medical industry and cell therapy regulations and patents

About IPCTRM

The IPCTRM program was established to address the medical needs of ageing populations worldwide by exploring new methods of treating diseases through cell therapy and regeneration medicine. The program is at the forefront of this trend, with a pioneering faculty that set up Taiwan's first university-based Good Tissue Practice (GTP) laboratory.

Admissions

  • Application Period: November 17 to February 12, 2026
  • Online Interviews: March 30 to April 10, 2026
  • Result of Applications: April 30, 2026
