Program Overview

Liberal Studies, B.S.

The Liberal Studies program at Southern Connecticut State University is designed for students who are majoring in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Elementary Education-Bilingual, or Special Education-Elementary Education Collaborative. The program requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a total of 120 credits to graduate.

The program course outline and graduation requirements are listed below. Students may discuss the option to complete an alternate second major or different Liberal Studies concentration with their advisor.
