Introduction to the JumpStart Program

The JumpStart Program is an early college preparation initiative designed to guide high school students through the college preparation process. The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on their college journey in the fall.

The JumpStart Program offers a range of services, including:


  • A Parent Information Night, providing insights into SRJC and the JumpStart Program
  • A Student Kick-Off session, introducing students to the SRJC JumpStart Program
  • Workshops on SRJC Application and the Doyle Scholarship Application
  • Assistance with the High School Dual Enrollment Request process for encouraged counseling courses
  • Collaborations with 10,000 Degrees and Financial Aid for Cash 4 College Workshops
  • Enrollment Workshops when Summer/Fall Registration opens during the spring semester
  • A celebration to honor students' achievements before their high school graduation
