The Opticianry Program aims to train college graduates who can supply optical materials designed to eliminate vision disorders and apply them to patients.

In the Opticianry Program of the Vocational School of Health Services, students are equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical training offered by expert academics and leading professionals of the sector.
Career Opportunities
Students who finish the Opticianry Program earn the title of "Optician." Opticians prepare and apply optical devices (glasses, contact lenses, etc.) that are used to eliminate or reduce visual impairments according to patient prescriptions. Graduates of the Opticianry Program have extremely wide employment areas, including:
- Opening their own optical shops
- Working as a responsible manager in optician institutions
- Working in companies that manufacture optical lenses, frames, and contact lenses
Vertical Transfer Opportunities
Students who graduate from this program can continue their undergraduate programs if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). Undergraduate programs that allow vertical transfer from the Opticianry Program include:

- Physics Engineering
- Optical and Acoustic Engineering
- Management of Health
Practical Training
Vocational School of Health Services, Optician Program students carry out their applied courses in university laboratories to improve their practice and practical skills.
