Program Overview
Introduction to Queens College
Queens College is a prestigious institution offering a wide range of academic programs. The college provides students with the opportunity to earn up to 15 credits during the summer session, which includes three sessions: two 4-week sessions and one 7-week session.
Summer Session Program
The Summer Session Program at Queens College offers hundreds of courses in various formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online. The program is designed to help students get ahead in their studies and is available to current QC students, visiting students, and CUNY students.
Sessions and Registration
- Session 1 (4 weeks): June 1 - June 24, up to 6 credits, last day to register: June 1, Visiting Student Application deadline: May 27
- Session 2 (4 weeks): July 6 - July 29, up to 6 credits, last day to register: July 6, Visiting Student Application deadline: July 1
- Session 3 (7 weeks): June 29 - August 17, up to 9 credits, last day to register: June 30, Visiting Student Application deadline: June 24
Tuition and Fees
The tuition and fees for the Summer Session Program are as follows:
- New York State Resident: $305 per credit (undergraduate), $470 per credit (graduate)
- Out-of-State Resident: $620 per credit (undergraduate), $855 per credit (graduate) An application fee of $65 (undergraduate) or $125 (graduate) will be added to the tuition.
Financial Aid
Students may be eligible for Summer Pell or other financial aid awards. Visiting and CUNY students should contact their home college's Financial Aid Office, while QC students should contact the Financial Aid office at Queens College.
