The Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music
The Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music (ECPSM) is a comprehensive music program that nurtures musical growth from the very first note to advanced performance and theory. Serving students ages 3 to 18, ECPSM offers a rich variety of programs, including:
- Private lessons in all orchestral and band instruments, piano, voice, guitar, and composition
- Suzuki classes for piano, violin, and cello
- Musicianship and theory classes to build a strong foundation
- Chorus, orchestra, chamber music, and percussion ensemble for collaborative performance experiences
About ECPSM
ECPSM is located at the prestigious Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Founded in 1981 with just 25 students and a passionate faculty, ECPSM has grown into a thriving center for music education. Now housed in a state-of-the-art facility on the Queens College campus, ECPSM proudly serves families from across New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties.
