The Medical Billing and Practice Management program is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of medical office billing and hands-on management of a medical practice. The program utilizes the Medisoft Advanced Patient Accounting software to simulate an on-the-job setting, offering an in-depth look into the business practices of a successful medical practice.

  • Using the universal coding system to prepare medical claims to third-party payers
  • Government and insurance regulations
  • Maintaining good patient medical and financial records

  • Medical Terminology & Body Systems (MBX126)
  • Electronic Health Record (MBX-005)
