The Criminal Justice program at Eugenio María de Hostos Community College is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, its components, and the social responses to crime.
Program Learning Outcomes
The program aims to achieve the following learning outcomes:
- PLO 1: Understand the historical development, functions, and roles of each component of the criminal justice system.
- PLO 2: Describe and critically examine the major criminological theories on crime causation and prevention, and apply them to criminal justice practice.
