Portfolio Preparation Program

The Portfolio Preparation course is designed to help applicants prepare their portfolio for entry into undergraduate arts and/or design programs in colleges and universities. This course focuses on more than just art pieces, also helping to prepare individuals for the interview and essay writing components of this process, boosting the chances of acceptance.

Topics Covered

• Lectures and activities to help those uncertain of what fields they would like to pursue within the creative industry
• Sketching practice and taught perspective drawing
• Exploring one's creative outlets
• Resume and portfolio building skills

Expected Results

• A minimum of ten pieces portfolio full of variety for arts and design programs
• An analytical way of thinking towards creative studies
• A developed personal branding
• Practiced knowledge of life and technical drawing
• Confidence for portfolio interview and essay components
• Basic knowledge of digital software of Adobe products
• Ability to give constructive criticism
