About the Program
The Oral and Dental Health program aims to train technical staff to assist dentists in their clinical work. Students who complete this program will be entitled to receive an associate degree diploma and will have the title of "Oral and Dental Health Technician."
Program Details
The program provides students with the opportunity to increase their professional environment and communication at the highest level, thanks to the rich educational staff and the clinical integration brought by the faculty of dentistry. The program also offers education on health management and practice management, in addition to mastering the basic principles of oral and dental health.
Privileges
- Students are provided with the opportunity to practice in the clinic integrated with the dental hospital.
- Being located on the same campus with the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy provides students with the opportunity to experience theoretical education in a hospital environment and in equipped laboratories that follow the technology.
- Trainings are organized at regular intervals by experts working in the field for the vision development of students.
- In addition to technical knowledge, an educational content has been created to improve social relations in order to develop the competencies that students who will work in the field should have.
- International activities are supported by learning and internship mobility within the scope of the Erasmus program.
Field of Study
When students graduate, they can work as assistant dentists in dentist offices, public and private dentistry polyclinics, Network and Dental Health Centers affiliated to the Ministry of Health and state hospitals.
