• Requirements: Grundläggande behörighet + Matematik 3b eller 3c, Samhällskunskap 1b eller 1a1+1a2. Alternatively, Matematik fortsättning nivĺ 1b eller fortsättning nivĺ 1c, Samhällskunskap nivĺ 1b eller nivĺ 1a2

Program Inriktningar

The program offers four different specializations:

• Bank och finans (Bank and Finance): This specialization is designed for students who want to work in financial organizations, such as banks and insurance companies. Students learn to work with financial instruments, such as stocks and loans, and have opportunities for a stimulating career in a dynamic industry.
• Internationell marknadsföring (International Marketing): This specialization is suitable for students who want to work in an international environment, creating business opportunities, building relationships, and developing organizations and brands.
• Redovisning och revision (Accounting and Auditing): This specialization is designed for students who want to work with qualified and independent tasks in economics. The program provides a good foundation for working with various types of assignments, such as auditor, accounting consultant, accounting economist, and controller.
• Valfri inriktning (Optional Specialization): This specialization is suitable for students who want to become economists but are unsure which area of economics interests them the most. During the first year, students take basic courses in business administration and national economics, and then choose a specialization after the first year.

Studieteknik

An important part of the education is the student's personal development. The Ekonomprogrammet includes various elements, such as group exercises in presentation techniques, exercises in academic writing, and seminars on how to read scientific articles and how to be a good opponent. This helps students develop their personal abilities, making their study time easier and preparing them well for working life.

As a student, you have close contact with working life. The program offers all students verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (VFU), which integrates theory with practice and creates valuable contacts for the future.
