Program Overview

The Operating Room Services program is designed to produce graduates who are skilled in the field of surgery, one of the most prominent treatment methods in the healthcare industry. Surgical technologists are allied health professionals who can utilize all surgical tools and equipment, prepare the operating room for surgery, and work as part of the surgical team.

Program Objectives

The program aims to produce graduates who possess certain skills and qualities, including:

• Interest and success in natural sciences, especially biology
• Nimble-fingered and dexterous
• Careful, fastidious, and cautious
• Brave and not afraid of blood
• Well-developed hand-eye and ear-hand-foot coordination
• Sense of responsibility
• Ability to make quick and right decisions
• Ability to understand and implement the surgeon's instructions quickly
• Ability to stand for long periods without physical disability
• Ability to adapt to flexible working hours and work under stress
