Automotive Technology Program
The Automotive Technology Program is a two-year associate degree program that provides education in the production, maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and operational processes of motor vehicles. The aim of the program is to train qualified technicians with strong practical skills, comprehensive knowledge of engine and vehicle technologies, and the ability to meet the needs of the automotive industry.
Program Details
This program is suitable for individuals interested in automotive and mechanical technologies, with well-developed problem-solving and technical analysis skills, and a willingness to follow innovative technologies. Graduates perform maintenance and repair on vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electronic control systems, conduct fault diagnostics, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of vehicles. They may also manage customer relations and operational processes in automotive service centers.
Curriculum
The vocational courses within the program are conducted both theoretically and practically. Students gain knowledge and skills in areas such as engine technologies, vehicle electronics, fuel and energy systems, chassis and powertrain components, and the use of diagnostic devices. Workshop and laboratory applications provide hands-on experience with real vehicles, preparing students for the industry.
Program Duration and Language
The duration of the program is 2 years (4 semesters), and the language of instruction is Turkish. Preparatory education is optional.
