Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to provide an advanced-degree curriculum that enhances the skills and knowledge of business professionals. The program is intended to meet the needs of current and future business leaders.

The mission of the MBA program is to provide an advanced-degree curriculum designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of business professionals. The program is intended to meet the needs of current and future business leaders. Students will pursue in-depth study of both theoretical and applied concepts, with a focus on developing the skills to become effective business leaders.
Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the MBA program will meet the following Program Learning Outcomes (PLO) identified and developed by the faculty:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of core business functions and organizational theories to inform planning and decision making
- Analyze and apply business planning, accounting, and finance skills to practical business scenarios
- Expand knowledge of and exercise skills in marketing, social media, and other internet-driven technologies
- Evaluate a variety of data types to make astute operational business decisions
Core Requirements
The MBA program requires 52 quarter units. The core requirements consist of 32 units:

- MBA 306 Macroeconomics: Business Conditions (4 units)
- MBA 321 Data Analysis for Decision Making (4 units)
- MBA 320 Organizational Behavior (4 units)

The MBA program offers four concentrations:
General Business Concentration
The General Business concentration provides practical decision-making skills that can be applied to careers such as planning, accounting, financial management, marketing, management consulting, entrepreneurship, and general management.

The Information Technology concentration provides practical decision-making skills that can be applied to jobs such as chief technology officer, computer information systems manager, senior project manager, and IT director.

Work Requirements for MBA Concentrations
Information Technology and Organizational Leadership concentrations require participation in work as an integral component of the curricula. Students must secure program-related work for each term they are enrolled.
Mandatory Face-to-Face Weekend
Students are required to attend a face-to-face instruction weekend session once per term/quarter. Failure to attend the mandatory weekend session may result in dismissal from the MBA program.
