Study Abroad Program
The university also offers a study abroad program in hospitality, providing students with international experience and exposure to different service styles, culinary techniques, and spa management practices.
Pathways
The study abroad program offers three pathways:
- The Art of Service: mastering international service styles and Food & Beverage operations
- Fundamentals of International Cuisine: exploring the origins of nutrition and international cuisines, and practicing culinary classic cooking methods
- Spa and Guest Relations: learning the origin of wellness, applying 21st-century trends, and developing excellent service and personable skills
Program Duration and Credits
Students can choose from different program durations:
- 6 weeks
- 12 weeks
- 18 weeks And earn transferable credits:
- 6-9 US credits per 6 weeks
- 12-18 ECTS credits per 6 weeks
Admission Requirements
To join the study abroad program, applicants must:
- Be currently studying at a tertiary institution
- Have English language proficiency (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent)
- Be at least 18 years old at the start of classes
Fees and Inclusions
The program fee is 14,000 CHF per 6 weeks, which includes:
- Full board (accommodation and meals)
- All tuition and study materials
- Health insurance
- On-campus student facilities (gym and spa)
- Selection of excursions (depending on dates)
