- Format: Weekly 7-hour in-person classes, supported by online modules.
- Time Commitment: Expect to invest 15-30 hours per week, including online studies, practical assessments, and classroom time.
- Cost: $2,699, which includes a Creative & Photography Makeup Kit valued over $850.

Course Structure

- Completion of a minimum 10-week makeup course from another recognized institute.

Week 1: Black and White & Bridal Beauty
- Black & White (Photographic): Makeup techniques that read well when filming in black and white.
- Bridal Beauty: Skin prep, natural tones, long-lasting makeup.
Week 2: Fantasy and Film
- Fantasy: Themes (e.g., 20s/2000s), creative makeup.
- Film: Natural/character work, lighting techniques.
Week 3: Avant-garde & Theater
- Avant-Garde: White bases, creative makeup.
- Theatre: Basic/character work.
Week 4: Airbrushing Basics
- Airbrush Basics: Gun cleaning, skin prep, shapes (circles/lines).
- Airbrush Natural: Color matching, foundation, light contour.
Week 5: Airbrushing for Mature Skin and Tattoo Covering
- Mature Skin: Mother of the bride prep.
- Tattoo Cover: Color correction, long-lasting coverage.
Week 6: Bridal Airbrush
- Airbrush Bridal: Techniques for bridal makeup.
Week 7 – Accredited Assessment
By successfully completing the accredited assessment on this final week and the course, you will gain credits towards the following 4 units of the SHB30221 – Certificate III in Makeup qualification:
- SHBBMUP010 – Design and apply make-up for photography
- SHBBMUP012 – Apply airbrushed make-up
- SHBBMUP013 – Design and apply creative make-up
- SHBBMUP014 – Work collaboratively on make-up productions
