- Advanced skincare therapy techniques, such as chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion
- Advanced machines, including OBSERV 320 and LED Celluma light therapy
- Lash and brow techniques, including lash lifts and brow lamination
- Human body systems, hair growth knowledge, nutritional support, and safety protocols
- Comprehensive consultant skills, including identifying contraindications, skin conditions, and creating personalized treatment plans
- Essentials of running a successful beauty clinic, including setting KPIs, mastering booking systems, creating marketing strategies, and navigating consumer legislation
- A six-week industry internship, where students can apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting

Qualifications Awarded
The program leads to the award of the New Zealand Diploma in Beauty and Spa Therapy (Level 5).
Entry Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be aged 17 or older on commencement of the program
- Hold a Certificate in Beauty Therapy at level 4 or equivalent beauty qualification, plus completed secondary education to NCEA level 2 or equivalent
- Participate in an interview with a Team Leader or Campus Manager to determine eligibility for admission
Technical Requirements
A computer/laptop, microphone, and reliable internet connection are required for learning. Phones are not suitable devices for student learning.
Domestic Course Costs
- Tuition Fees: $19,416
- Student Services Levy: $350
- Course-related costs, such as a laptop, are not covered under any fees-free funding schemes
International Students
International students must:
- Be 18 years or older (or provide proof of living with a parent/guardian if under 18)
- Demonstrate English language competency equivalent to IELTS Level 5.5 (Academic) with no band less than 5
- Pay tuition fees of $26,000.00 and a course fee of $2,000.00
Additional Requirements
The program requires 37.5 learning hours per week, including approximately 20 contact hours and 17.5 non-contact hours. Students must participate in hands-on training and industry-related activities.
