Overview

The XXXIX. Deney Hayvanlar Kullanm Sertifikas Eitim Kursu (39th Experimental Animal Use Certification Training Course) will be held from July 2-12, 2026. The course program is prepared in accordance with the "Deney Hayvanlar Kullanm Sertifikas Eitim Programna Dair Genelgesi" (General Directive on Experimental Animal Use Certification Training Program) published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, on April 2, 2019.

Course Details

• Course Dates: July 2-12, 2026
• Theoretical Lectures: July 2-8, 2026 (offline-remote education)
• Practical Application Lessons: July 9-12, 2026 (face-to-face education)
• Course Fee:
  • Student (Undergraduate): 14,000 TL
  • Institution Internal: 18,000 TL
  • Institution External: 20,000 TL
• Application Deadline: June 30, 2026
• Exam Date: July 12, 2026, 16:00-18:00 (face-to-face)

Certification Categories

The Experimental Animal Use Certification will be awarded in three categories:

• A Category: Researchers (including undergraduate students)
• B Category: Assistant Health/Technical Personnel
• C Category: Animal Caretakers

Course Requirements

• Attendance to all parts of the program is mandatory.
• Participants must achieve a score of 70 or higher in the exams to receive the certification.
• The certification will be valid for the 1st Group (Mouse, Rat, Rabbit) animal species.

• The course schedule and location may be changed by Istanbul Medipol University MEDiTAM.
• Participants must have a tetanus shot before the practical lessons.
