The Management of Health Facilities program at Medipol University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of health tourism concepts, the development of medical tourism, and the ability to assess the health tourism sector.
Course Description
The course, titled "HEALTH TOURISMSK," is offered in the Spring Semester and consists of 2 hours of theoretical instruction and 2 hours of practical application per week. The course is worth 2 credits and 2 ECTS.

Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to give students the opportunity to learn medical tourism concepts, study the development of medical tourism, and analyze health tourism in Turkey and around the world.

- Midterm Exam (40% of the final grade)

- Evaluates the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field of Health Institutions Management with a critical approach
- Uses information and communication technologies together with computer software at least at the basic level of European Computer Driving License required by the field of Health Institutions Management
- Complies with and contributes to quality management and processes
- Has sufficient consciousness about individual and public health, environmental protection, and work safety issues
- Acts in accordance with laws, regulations, legislations, and professional ethics related to individual duties, rights, and responsibilities
