Program Overview

The Management of Health Facilities program at Medipol University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of health tourism concepts, the development of medical tourism, and the ability to assess the health tourism sector.


Course Description

The course, titled "HEALTH TOURISMSK," is offered in the Spring Semester and consists of 2 hours of theoretical instruction and 2 hours of practical application per week. The course is worth 2 credits and 2 ECTS.

Course Objectives

The purpose of this course is to give students the opportunity to learn medical tourism concepts, study the development of medical tourism, and analyze health tourism in Turkey and around the world.


Teaching Methods

  • Question-Answer Technique (16 hours)
  • Lecture Method (9 hours)

  • Traditional Written Exam
  • Midterm Exam (40% of the final grade)
  • Final Exam (60% of the final grade)
