Program Overview


Cross Enrollment Program

The Cross Enrollment Program is designed for current College of Alameda students who are planning to transfer and would like to experience taking a course at another university, such as CSU East Bay, UC Berkeley, San Francisco State University, or any other university.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Cross Enrollment, a student must:


  • Have completed at least one term at College of Alameda.
  • Be enrolled in 6 semester units at College of Alameda during the term of participation in the program.
  • Have attained a grade point average of 2.0 (grade of C) for work completed.
  • Have College of Alameda as their home campus during the semester of application and during the semester enrolled in the concurrent enrollment course.
  • Not enroll in a course that is offered at College of Alameda.
  • Participate only during Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Have paid appropriate tuition fees for the academic term in which they seek to cross-enroll.
  • Have the appropriate academic preparation, as determined by the College of Alameda.

Program Details

Depending on the campus, students can attend either at no charge or pay $46 per unit. Students should meet with a Counselor and complete a Concurrent Enrollment application to participate in the program.
